Java’s Epic Journey

Day 1: Arrival – Jogjakarta (–)

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by one of our experience guides in the arrivals hall and privately transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Borobudur – Candirejo (Breakfast, Lunch)

Discover the magnificent Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Indonesia’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Continue to Candirejo Village for an authentic glimpse into rural Javanese life, with opportunities to experience the local traditions, community, and peaceful countryside surroundings. Lunch will be served at local restaurant Remarks: - Visitors may access the Stupa, subject to availability of quotas and the temple’s prevailing regulations. - Borobudur rates are subject to change without prior notice in accordance with government policy.

Day 3: Temples, Royal Heritage & Local Life (Breakfast, Lunch)

Discover the cultural soul of Yogyakarta, beginning with the majestic Prambanan Temple, a remarkable testament to Java’s ancient heritage. Continue to the Kraton Jogja, the heart of Javanese royal culture, followed by Taman Sari, the former royal garden and water palace. End your journey at the lively Malioboro Street and Beringharjo Market, immersing yourself in local life, traditional crafts, and the vibrant atmosphere of Yogyakarta. Lunch will be served at local restaurant Remarks: - Kraton Jogja: Closed every Monday. Open Tuesday–Sunday, 08:30–14:30 WIB - Prambanan Temple: Closed every Monday Kindly note opening hours and access to attractions are subject to change.

Day 4: Jogjakarta (By Train) – Trowulan Temple – Bromo (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel by train towards East Java. Upon arrival, continue the journey to Trowulan, the former capital of the Majapahit Kingdom. Explore the archaeological site and discover the remains of this historic kingdom, including ancient temples and other cultural heritage sites. After the visit, continue by road towards the Bromo area. Upon arrival, check in at Plataran Bromo and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the resort, surrounded by the natural beauty of East Java. Remarks: - Trowulan Museum is closed every Monday and on National Public Holidays. Opening hours are subject to change.

Day 5: Bromo Sunrise – Surabaya City Tour – Surabaya (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast at hotel. Embark on an early morning adventure to Mount Bromo. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise from Viewpoint, followed by a jeep ride across the Sea of Sand to the active Bromo Crater. Followed by a journey to Surabaya. Continue with a city tour exploring the city’s highlights and discovering its unique blend of history and modern urban life. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.

Day 6: Surabaya – Out (Breakfast)

Breakfast at hotel. Conclude your journey in Surabaya with free time until your transfer for departure. Depending on the flight schedule, enjoy some leisure time or make your own arrangements before heading to the airport for your onward journey.
