BELIZE CITY / BARTON CREEK (-/-/D) Nestled between Mexico, Guatemala and the sparkling Caribbean Sea, Belize is a destination off the beaten path and a journey here can turn into a truly unique and enriching experience. Come and discover the jungle of western Belize... on horseback through dense vegetation, you’ll uncover hidden caves and waterfalls. This program is a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and total immersion in nature. You’ll be amazed by the sight of colorful toucans, parrots, noisy monkeys—and with some luck, you might even catch a glimpse of shy pumas or jaguars. This package is ideal for those who wish to combine horseback riding with other nature-based activities! You can choose from full-day or half-day rides, to enjoy the wilderness and be on horseback with no other goal than to relax and connect with nature. The Lodge also hosts an art gallery and a museum for those looking to add a cultural touch to their holiday. Finally, if you're looking for alternatives to riding, a wide range of activities is available, including birdwatching, cave tubing, zip-lining, and much more! Pick-up from Belize City International Airport (BZE), visit to the Belize Zoo (if your flight schedule allows), and transfer (approx. 2.5 hours) to your cabana. Dinner and overnight stay.

to 7: BARTON CREEK (B/L/D) You can choose from a wide range of riding and non-riding activities. (The package includes 6 activity units of your choice.) Please note: No activities are planned on arrival and departure days. We’ve listed some example activities you may add to your package, but the lodge offers many more options to choose from. Riding Activities We follow a horse-training philosophy based on the horse's natural instincts and communication methods. The goal of natural horsemanship is for the horse to remain calm and feel safe throughout the training process. A horse that feels calm and protected by its handler quickly forms a strong bond, and the results can be remarkable. We emphasize communication through “Ground Work”, establishing clear boundaries that foster trust between human and horse. Trust is built through consistently positive behavior over time. The lodge is a truly special place, with large open pastures where horses roam freely. With around 80 horses, we have a wide selection to help you find the right match. Open fields, jungle, and rivers offer both relaxing and adventurous riding trails.
